Malcolm’s Reading Room is located on the ground floor of the Masonic Temple building in Birmingham ’s historic 4th Avenue District. Concentrating on African-American books and products, often difficult to locate in a typical bookstore, other offerings include music and art by local independent musicians and artists. Named after the son of the bookstore's owners, Malcolm's Reading Room also includes a children’s reading area.
